This has been an incredibly stressful year for my family.  I’ve lost two of my grandparents, one of which my whole world was built around, my sib lost students in a school shooting, my job ramped up to release the biggest game I’ve ever worked on, I’ve had the flu twice, and the stomach flu, two sinus infections and two bad colds.  We may also lose one of our cats before the year is out.  Thankfully a long vacation that I planned before the shit hit the fan is coming up and I can hopefully relax and sleep and regroup!

I also got a new 3d printer and my glowforge laser cutter finally came in after two years of waiting!  Both of these will make the doll making easier since I won’t have to outsource my fine 3d prints nor will I have to order custom cardboard inserts like i have in the past.

My plans for the coming year are to do a release of Clever Little with new knees and possibly shoe feet and maybe a new head and do a round of Mini-Machinas if I can.  A small order of Dark Elves went out and should be here in February.

I’m also hoping to be able to release Clever, a 65cm version of Clever Little.  I’m still working out some of the kinks on him, many of which I’ve found since i cast him, sadly, haha!  right now I’m working on getting better mobility in his hips and adjusting his head and neck size so his proportions are visually closer to the Clever Little.  It’s funny how something stylized works at a small size, but the larger you make it, the more your brain wants things to be closer to realistic proportions.

In good news, the Unicorn Boys and the Prince of Evening are all finished!  I will have casts available to sell during the next shop fill on Saturday 10/1/16 along with some pre-orders for Clever Little!  I’ll also be attending Resin Hearts in San Jose on October 22!  If you’re in the area please stop by and see us all! Should be a great time!  I’ll be bringing a lot of my doll furniture and back drops for everyone to take photos of their dolls on as well!

In not so happy news, I will no longer be taking regular orders.  My full time job takes up a lot of my time and head space.  I’m having more and more trouble keeping orders straight when I pack unless I am doing them en masse.  So from now on ordering will be handled by pre-order, at cons, or in week long shop fills on my Etsy site.  After a week, I will close orders and re-load them during the next shop fill.  Next shop fill is 10/1/16!

Clever Little B	Clever Little A

Finally!  I’ve been working on these guys the entire summer!  They’re 1:6 scale and go well in playscale environments.  You can stash them in a purse and carry them anywhere!   I like to pretend their little elven princes and I’ve got a whole head canon for them. That’s the danger of doll making, you start making worlds too, then you want to build tiny sets and annoy your family.

They’re available in three skin tones.  Right now I have 15 total dolls, five of each skin tone.  If I get more orders than that I will be happy to expand the order, however, i need to know soon!  They’re already in production and being cast!

You are ALWAYS welcome to message me to get an update on an order, anything you’ve seen me working on, or on pre-order status or if you just have a general question about doll making.  I am more than happy to help!
