Thank you! I sculpt the body first in paper-clay and then i make molds from silicone and cast the final in resin. For wigs I usually purchase them from doll sites or make them out of fun fur or mohair!

Yaay! :D i'm so glad! I'll make a post here when the pre-order opens. I'm making it long so that people can do layaway if they need to. :3

I used this: http://www.parmapse.com/fas1.html for Scarab. I thinned it a little more for my airbrush and then sealed him in MSC Gloss. Henry, the one with the dents and bonks here, is sealed with Krylon Matte- which is actually a little shiny. it's tougher than the MSC too, so that's a bonus!

I have have wanted a boy for so long!
I have an Alpha that I was lucky enough to pick up on the secondhand market.
I will be on that pre-order.

(PS. What paint did you use on Scarab? The metallic is great.)

Awesome! The boys will be going into production probably around end of september(if not sooner), and I'll open official pre-orders then. It'll take about three months from then for the dolls to be made. I'm looking at the dolls being around $340 each.

There's a female machina, but she's out of production right now. you can see some images of her here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/batchix/sets/72157627364687552/ Unfortunately the person who ran the site that sold them has disappeared and taken the casts with her and i don't recommend buying them from her site as there's a good chance you wouldn't get the doll. I hope to start a run of them on my own next spring depending on how things go with the boys. <3

If you like, I can add you to my email list for updates on my dolls. You can shoot me an email at batchix (at) yahoo (dot) com

thanks again!! :D <3

Hi,
I am interested in possibly purchasing a machina doll. Can you tell me how much they cost and if you will be making a female machina in the future?
